Get Balanced

To take advantage of glide, which is really the whole point of being on skis, you need to learn how to balance on one ski, keep it flat and let it glide. Practice by using just one ski at a time. Push off with your ski-less foot, stand tall on your ski and try to balance and glide as long as you can. Relax your feet, it will help your balance. As your balance improves, use both skis.
