Plantar Pain

Plantar fasciitis (exhibited by pain close to the heel and toward the inside of the foot) is probably caused by increasing the duration of exercise too quickly or wearing shoes that don't fit properly or that don't provide adequate support. The RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) method is the first line of treatment, although you may need to visit a medical professional.
