Strong Kick to the Beach!

During a triathlon swim, most of us tend to neglect our legs; they just trail along behind us for the ride. Keep in mind, however, that you're going to be relying heavily on those legs for the remainder of the race. Recommendation: Concentrate on picking up the pace of your kick for the last 100- to 200-meters of the swim to get the blood flowing back to your legs so that when you hit the beach, you'll be off and running!
