Weight Forward

When skiing downhill, leaning forward will help you maintain control and make better turns. Keep your body weight centered over the balls of your feet. Your knees and shoulders should line up over the tips of your toes. If your weight shifts back the sharp edges will lose their grip on the snow, your speed will increase, and you'll fall.
