Mind the Pain

If you develop a specific and nagging pain during a long run, don't push through the pain. Slow to a walk. If pain vanishes, walk for awhile then gently begin to run. Or try running on the opposite side of the road; sometimes the angle of the road surface on the left (preferred) side of the road is the culprit and an occasional switch to the right side cures the problem.
