Climbing Tips

Use a lower (easier to push) gear than you think you need on the bottom two thirds of the climb and spin smoothly. With about 100 yards to go, shift to a harder gear, stand up, and power over the top. Also, keep a good mental attitude. Sure, hills can be hard. But they're part of riding a bike and nothing improves your fitness faster than time spent climbing.
