Using the Quick-Release

Make sure you tighten the hub's quick-release lever properly when securing the wheel to your bike. The quick-release is the locking mechanism on the hub that act as a cam, opening and closing. The word “close” is visible on the lever when the quick-release is properly engaged. You know the lever's tight enough when it leaves an imprint on your palm when closing it. Visit your local bike mechanic for more information.
