Take a Day Off . . . or More

By running on an injury you aggravate the problem and geometrically increase the time needed for repair. It's always better to be conservative and take a day or two off as a safety measure when you suspect an injury. Even if there's nothing wrong, taking a few days off won't hurt your overall fitness level, and may spare you weeks or months of forced rest later.
