Treating an Injury - Pronation

Where the foot rolls from the outside to inside, is the normal shock-absorbing mechanism in running. But when it is excessive, to the point where the arch is flat or the heel is tilted over, it causes overuse problems of the foot and leg. The knee is often forced into weaker position on the medial side, and out of alignment. As the weight of the body comes down on the improperly aligned knee, problems arise.
