Too Busy? Find the Time to Exercise

What is the best method to lose weight when I work from 8–5 and go to school at night?

You are living my former life! What I suggest, and it’s NOT easy, is to get up before work and get in a good 30-minute workout. It’s NOT easy to wake up early, but once you’re up and get in a good blood-pumping workout, you will have MORE energy for the rest of the day. I find that laying my clothes out the night before helps my morning routine. I currently get up at 4:00 a.m. to train before I go to work. I put in a 12-hour day and am SO HAPPY to have my workout done early in the morning, because it gives me energy for the entire day.

If a morning workout doesn’t suit you, there are other options. Can you ride a bike to work? Can you work out at a nearby gym on your lunch break? Does your school offer Physical Education classes? I found that if I took a class at school, it forced me to show up. If you’re already going to school, maybe you can enroll in a class that meets twice a week, and get some movement in your life.

THE ONE area we’re all EQUAL in is TIME. We all have 24 hours in a day, 7 days a week, so we all get to decide how we’ll spend each 24 hours. I didn’t say it was easy, but it can be done!
